Lost in swirls of chocolate delight

Listening to melodies combine and take flight

Colors vivid with imagination’s might

Sensation’s caresses softly out of sight

Aromatic images wafting from the heights

All life together causing this simple plight

Then holding an empty fermata through the night

Only to crescendo to presto with morning’s first light

Releasing the senses from their strength to fight

About The Lost Poet

I write because I find inspiration. It is my hope that through my writing some connections may be felt. Everything I write comes from my experiences with life, and with the people that I love. I try to remember to see myself in everyone, and everyone in myself.

Sounds, images, aroma, colours and sensations create a great imagery and ‘crescendo to presto with mornings first light” – Splendid:))
