Wondrous Thanks

Gifts of happiness do I see

Falling around me as if from the sky

Bringing smiles and sounds of glee

Warm feelings making one to cry

A feast laid out before us now

Lovingly prepared with family

Chaos in the kitchen loud

Delicious smells wafting happily

For togetherness and friends so close

For all the things we hold so dear

For living each day to the most

For love always being quite so near

We offer thanks for wondrous things

We offer thanks for whatever tomorrow brings

About The Lost Poet

I write because I find inspiration. It is my hope that through my writing some connections may be felt. Everything I write comes from my experiences with life, and with the people that I love. I try to remember to see myself in everyone, and everyone in myself.
